Oberbergische Stube in Wuppertal

I've never eaten so bad. We had our daughter's communion there 5 years ago. Pre-soup was a real impertinence. Vegetable porridge is more of a horror. Roast pork with three croquettes and a side salad. Ice cream was okay, my daughter has always called this place a pigsty ever since. You couldn't pay with a card. The owners have not changed since then. I am still ashamed of being a stranger today.

Have read a report in the express and thought we would try the food. We were not disappointed. Very large portions, the schnitzel is nice and thin and fried crispy. Salad unfortunately only with vinegar and oil not our taste. But the salad was crisp and fresh. As side dishes, we had thin, crispy fries and fried potatoes. From the outside, old trusses with modern equipment. Parking spaces behind the house at the cemetery. As a small suggestion, it would make a slightly nicer impression from the outside if the showcases were cleaned and new, clean menus were hung up there. Would definitely eat there again when we are nearby.

The schnitzel are awesome .. so if you are very hungry you are in good hands .. we will be back ...

Schnitzel heaven! If you like good schnitzel without a lot of junk, you are absolutely right here. Really huge portions await you here. You shouldn't eat anything for a while, otherwise you don't have a chance to make the crowds. The restaurant is kept in a rather simple atmosphere, but super clean. Clarify recommendation!

Waiting time for food too long, spoke as one on it the waitress was rude and answered it the one with italian longer would wait. When that came to eat was the next disappointment that we ordered was partially incorrect and one part was not for what we had had to pay for the food not the monetary value. A meal was kindly canceled.

We were in the Oberbergische Stube yesterday for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. What looks like a pub from the outside, inside is a nice restaurant with pub character. My husband and I had two schnitzel dishes and were pleasantly surprised. The amount was a bit much for us, the schnitzel are really big. Here the schnitzel is still breaded and you can taste it. My husband was very happy about the Jever on tap. And in summer, the room even has a beer garden. The prices are very moderate. Unfortunately, we lacked a little music in the background. That would improve the ambience, but maybe it was only music yesterday. We will be back definitely.

The food in the Oberbergische Stube is very, very delicious. The atmosphere is very good for me there. I'm always drawn there when I visit my daughter with my family every two months. I always look forward to the huge salad plate with lots of fresh salad plus tuna. My entire family loves this restaurant and the very sympathetic owner !!!
